Ever seen a 12,000 lbs. truck fly?
This fall locals will have a chance as Monster Jam takes over the Pacific Coliseum for a weekend in October.
The three-day festival of monster trucks will be filled with hulking vehicles ripping around the inside of the arena and loud noises.
"Monster Jam drivers are trained, world-class male and female athletes who have mastered not only the physical strength and mental stamina needed to compete but the vital dexterity to control 12,000-pound machines capable of doing backflips, vertical two-wheel skills and racing at speeds up to 70 miles-per-hour to produce jaw-dropping, live motorsports action seen around the world," states a press release.
It adds that it's a family-friendly experience.
Along with freestyle and racing competitions, there will be pit parties as well, where people can meet the drivers and see the trucks up close.
Tickets go on sale June 13.
