Fans of the winter Olympics, particularly figure skating, may recognize the name Patrick Chan.
This month, Vancouverites can meet and skate with three-time world champion Olympic figure skater t and get a "chance for photos, autographs, and a quick hello," according to the City of Vancouver.
On September 17 and October 8, Chan will be skating at two Vancouver skate rinks with an off-ice meet and greet. Sessions will be open for pre-booking at noon three days prior to each session.
On the first day, Chan will skate at Hillcrest Rink (4575 Clancy Loranger Way) and on the second day, the public can spot him at Trout Lake Rink (3350 Victoria Dr).
Oh, and yes: This is the same world champion Olympic figure skater who was kicked out of the Liquor Barn on Cambie one crazy day in 2017.
