This week on the Vancouver Is Awesome Podcast we sit down for a tasty talk with Mijune Pak, who has just wrapped up her second season serving as a permanent judge on TV's Top Chef Canada. Pak is also known for her blog Follow Me Foodie (and her social media) for her globetrotting pursuit of all things wonderful to eat.
Hosts Lindsay William-Ross and Adam Nanji (filling in for Bob Kronbauer) grill the world class foodie on everything from what it's like eating two five course meals at the same time on camera to her infamous "resting bitch face" (which we saw none of when she came to our studio!).
Oh, and this voracious food lover also dishes on how she managed to eat at 54 restaurants in one month, on top of all she had to eat as a Top Chef Canada judge. And don't miss Pak's picks for some of her "guilty pleasure" eats; you'll never think of one fast food item the same again!
Plus, Lindsay and Adam kick things off this week with a look back at the 25 of the most awesome photos of Vancouver and a special Instagram-iversary we're celebrating at V.I.A. Then there is a whole lotta talk about donuts, including Vancouver's donut rivalry: Cartems or Lucky's.
Find out which donuts your hosts love most, why they're both kind of nerding out about Vancouver's rail history lately, and what Mijune Pak says makes Vancouver so awesome.
