The Chilliwack Tulip Festival is finally back and opening day was April 11.
Although early in the season a full field of red and pink tulips was the attraction on day one. With many more bulbs planted and already blooming, more of the 20 acres will soon be populated with beautiful tulips.
Couples, babies, and dogs were a common sight. Unfortunately, due to previous rain, many people dressed nicely for photo shoots had to trek through the mud to get to the main field - but it is all worth it to get the photos for the 'gram.
The Chilliwack Tulip Festival launched in 2006 and is still the largest Tulip Garden in B.C
