A founding member of Rage Against the Machine, Tom Morello is coming to Vancouver in July.

One of the greatest guitarists of all time has booked a summer show in Vancouver.

Tom Morello, a founding member of Rage Against the Machine (RATM), will be playing at the Commodore Ballroom July 11, 2025, along with his own band.

While RATM doesn't tour anymore (they were supposed to play a show in Vancouver but the COVID-19 pandemic delayed it, and then the band disbanded), Morello has several solo albums.

In bands since he was 13, Morello is considered by many to be one of the best guitarists, with magazines including Rolling Stone, Guitar World, and Spin ranking him as one of the all-time greats.

Other projects he's been in include Audioslave, Prophets of Rage, and the Street Sweeper Social Club. He also toured with Bruce Springsteen and released songs with everyone from Chris Stapleton to Pussy Riot to K. Flay.

Morello is also famously politically active; while many of his musical projects have a political aspect, he's also outspoken outside of music (he graduated from Harvard with a political science degree).

No opening act has been announced for the show.
