Meat maniacs, did you miss your chance to chow down like a true carnivore last month when RibFest rolled into Port Moody? Well, don't worry, because RibFest Langley is happening this month, and it's going to fire up meat-eaters from all around Metro Vancouver.
Taking place August 16 through 18 at McLeod Athletic Park, RibFest Langley is three days packed with family-friendly fun, live music, craft beer, and, of course, heaps of ribs (and more) to eat.
Renown "ribbers" Boss Hogs, Guerilla Q BBQ, Prairie Smoke, Smoke and Bones BBQ, and Gator BBQ are on the roster, each bringing their signature grub like pulled pork, brisket, BBQ chicken, ribs, and all the sides.
Of course, not everyone is into piles of meat, and RibFest Langley promises there will be some food that's friendly for vegans and vegetarians - well, those that don't mind being at a ribs festival, that is.
The event is free to attend, just bring your cash for buying food, and consider bringing a blanket or chairs for picnicking. Pets, however, need to stay at home, and there is no outside alcohol permitted on the festival premises.
