Vancouver-born actor Ryan Reynolds debunked a fan theory about the latest Deadpool movie.
While promoting his new holiday movie Spirited in New York City, the actor told Entertainment Tonight that long-time family friend Taylor Swift will not be appearing in Deadpool 3, but said that she would "of course" be welcome in it.
"Are you kidding me? I would do anything for that woman. She's a genius," Reynolds told ET.
The theory began spreading around when fans realized that the actor's punny trailer for Deadpool 3 was filmed at the same location as Swift's All Too Well: The Short Film, reports ET. Some took the coincidence as a hint to Swift's appearance in the movie.
There is also a possibility that the new movie will film in Vancouver again, like with the previous Deadpool movies.
This isn't the first time that Swift has been a topic of speculation in relation to Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively. Fans previously thought the singer revealed the name of the couple's unborn fourth child in the lyrics of one of her new songs.
This theory began circulating shortly after the singer dropped her latest album, Midnights, which had Vancouverites celebrating in a worldwide sleepover.
