As I recently WROTE ABOUT, I'm on the committee for this year's Pacific Salmon Foundation gala. Happening on April 30th at the Convention Centre West, it's their largest annual fundraiser and is a gathering of folks who care about the future of one of our most important species in this province - the salmon. The $200 ticket gets you a wonderful meal, some wine, and a night of hanging out with 600-or-so other folks who care about conserving this resource as much as you do.
In my role on the committee I've been soliciting donations for the auctions (there's a silent and a live auction at the dinner) and I was thrilled yesterday when the Vancouver Canucks gave us this jersey signed by the entire team!
