This Saturday, the Museum of Vancouver and H.R. MacMillan Space Centre invite you to a family friendly afternoon of totally incredible, mind-expanding geekdom! Come explore various collections of super sci-fi fandom, including vintage action figures, video game consoles, science fiction film props, and rarely screened science fiction short films created by local and national video artists.
This isn’t one of those “don’t touch” exhibitions. Sci-Fi Collector Day also offers your family an opportunity to build your own mini space ships at the Star Trek craft table, play with action figures, Atari, Magnavox and Colecovision games and enjoy a science fiction film fest in their micro-cinema.
For more information, visit the Museum of Vancouver website, HERE. See you at the Star Trek craft table!
Sci-Fi Collector Day runs from 11:00am – 4:00pm on Saturday, September 17, 2016 at the Museum of Vancouver and H.R. MacMillan Space Centre. Advance tickets are not required. Single admission to Museum of Vancouver and/or the H.R. Macmillan Space Center provides access to this event.
