While new movie theatres offer more and more, from 3D films to water being sprayed at the audience to a VIP experience, one ad hoc theatre in Vancouver has something no other in the city has.
Cats.
Not the film Cats, but the small, furry creatures that enjoy catnip and are often allowed to live in human homes without paying rent.
Catoro, the East Vancouver rescue cat cafe has begun to show films some evenings. Its theatre is the cats' living space, so expect some wandering feline film fans at each show.
Folks looking for things to do in Vancouver can enjoy a variety of fun flicks next month.
While the Halloween films have sold out, tickets are available (though tickets are limited and may sell out) for four Thursday nights of film in November:

- Fantastic Mr. Fox: Nov. 28
