Put the star wattage of Canadians Shania Twain and Ryan Reynolds in a room together and, boom: You have an iconic TV music performance moment.
Tuesday night (Dec. 6), country-pop superstar Twain hit the stage as part of the People's Choice Awards, which aired on NBC.
With pink hair, a flame-bedazzled and fringed-legged tight pink outfit, Twain rocked the awards show with her iconic hit "That Don't Impress Me Much," with one key lyric change.
"So you're Ryan Reynolds?" riffed Twain, replacing the original reference to handsome movie star Brad Pitt. "That don't impress me much."
Reynolds, who was in the audience, is caught on camera reacting to the shout-out with amusement.
The next morning, Twain tweeted a clip of the moment from the song, adding "Sorry not sorry" to her fellow Canadian icon.
Impressive, Ms. Twain.
Reynolds was at the PCAs to receive the "Icon" award. In his heartfelt acceptance speech, he dedicated his win to his family and wife Blake Lively.
Twain herself won the Music Icon People's Choice Award.
We'll be seeing Twain locally next year. She will play two back-to-back Vancouver shows in May 2023 as part of her "Queen of Me" tour.
