"Twilight" will be shown at The Orpheum with a live orchestra and rock band providing the score.

Members of "Team Jacob" and "Team Edward" will have a chance to revive that debate next year at a unique event.

The Montreal-based FILMharmonic is sending a 12-piece ensemble to Vancouver next year for the live cinematic event Twilight in Concert. The film will be played in its entirety with rock and orchestral musicians, including singer Sam Champagne, providing a live music component.

The film's score will be "played in perfect synchronization with the full-length film, shown on a massive cinema screen," describes a press release for the event.

For fans of the Twilight books and films, it'll be a unique way to see the movies as the performance in the Orpheum Theatre will be lit by over 1,000 candles.

It's not FILMharmonic's only show in Vancouver this year. Previously they announced a similar performance for Avatar: The Last Airbender, though they won't be showing the entire series during the concert. That show features a mix of instruments including Taiko drums and erhus.

Previously FILMharmonic performed at the Orpheum backing violinist Isabella d'Eloize Perron. In Montreal they've also tackled Lord of the Rings, Bond and other film franchises.

Twilight in Concert takes place on March 13, 2025 at the Orpheum Theatre. Tickets go on sale Sept. 26, 2024 at 10 a.m.
