Don't come undone Vancouver, you'll be able to take your car (or your board) to Weezer's newest tour.
The Voyage To The Blue Planet Tour, which celebrates the band's self-titled album (often known as the Blue Album), will be coming to town Oct. 5, 2024 for a concert at Rogers Arena.
Don't unravel, but that Weezer album is 30 years old as of this spring.
The album, which was released May 10, 1994, was chock-full of hits, like "Buddy Holly," "My Name is Jonas" and "Undone — the Sweater Song," and influenced many modern rock bands that came after, with its mix of pop-friendly rock songs.
While Weezer will be the headliner at Rogers Arena, their opening acts will be familiar to fans of 90s alt rock, too. The Flaming Lips had hits like "Do You Realize?" and "She Don't Use Jelly" while Dinosaur Jr. were another influential post-grunge act, though they had less commercial success.
Presale tickets will be available to fan club members and other groups this Wednesday, March 13, while the general public can buy tickets starting at 10 a.m. on March 15.
