Ryan Reynolds and Will Ferrell have joined comedic forces once again to spread festive fun in the form of a musical bromance.
The popular Vancouver actor shared a video of himself and the Elf star on his social media channels as a preview for their new Apple TV+ Christmas movie.
But Reynolds expresses concern that the festive feature might not measure up to his co-star's previous holiday blockbuster.
"Do you have any idea what it's like to be in a Christmas movie with Will Ferrell that's not Elf?" he asks, adding that people will be stuck watching a "musical with two guys who have no pitch."
Ferrell assuages some of the Deadpool star's concerns by providing some "simple disclaimers" of what they can expect.
Spirited is a comedic take on Charles Dickens' classic story of a bitter misanthrope who goes on an enchanted journey through his Christmases past: A Christmas Carol.

Will Ferrell and Ryan Reynolds in Vancouver
The funnymen made local headlines together when Ferrell sported a BC Lions jersey to the Super Bowl in February. Reynolds shared an image of the pair at the big game on social media, which received millions of likes and thousands of comments.
Elf, Ferrell's festive film tour de force, features the statuesque comedic actor as one of Santa's wayward helpers trying to find his dad in the big apple. It is one of his most popular roles and arguably one of the most beloved holiday movies of all time.
Many of the film's interior scenes were filmed at Riverview Hospital in Coquitlam, while the crew created a soundstage in Vancouver to shoot the beginning scenes of Buddy at the north pole. To accommodate the scale of the project, however, the production was moved into the PNE Agrodome.
Reynolds and Ferrell also teamed up to jump up on a hilarious TikTok singing trend in September 2021.
