Maybe this could be called a do-si-dosa.
Late last year a longtime South Vancouver dosa restaurant moved north, but their old home didn't stay empty long as a new, though similar South Indian restaurant moved in.
Dosa Corner left their home of a decade at 8248 Fraser St. in the fall of 2023, and opened a new spot a short time later at 6181 Fraser St. in the Sunset neighbourhood in late November.
On Dec. 1, the Views Dosa Hub opened up in the 8248 Fraser St. location.
Both businesses offer dosas filled with South Indian foods including vindaloos, masala, and other options.
The concentration of dosa shops along Fraser is high (though not as high as on Kingsway), as in between Dosa Corner and Views Dosa Hub is Dosa Hut, about halfway between the other two restaurants.
