Grounds for Coffee, the Kitsilano cafe known for their epic cinnamon buns, has just revealed plans for a second Vancouver location.
The coffee shop and bakery will be opening up across town at 2088 Commercial Drive, and say they are aiming for a spring launch.

Grounds for Coffee is beloved for their baked goods, with the star being their "world's best" cinnamon bun. Those buns get decked out for all occasions, from rainbow frosting for pride to chocolate and candy cane sprinkles for Christmas, and more (hello, Apple Pie Cinnamon Buns!).
They also serve lunch, and have a full coffee program. Their baked goods use no trans fats and their ingredients are locally-sourced as much as possible.

In May 2018, Grounds for Coffee celebrated their 25th anniversary in Kitsilano.
According to Commercial Drive-based blogger Jak's View of Vancouver, the space at 2088 Commercial Drive had been vacant for just over a year as of the first of this month.
The neighbourhood has seen an influx of new bakeshop cafes of late, with the opening of both Livia and Bench Bakehouse.
