The meals have been eaten and the votes have been cast, and Canada has a fresh list of Best New Restaurants for 2017.
One Vancouver spot made the final 10. Mak N Ming took fourth place in the popular annual ranking issued by Air Canada's enRoute Magazine.
The small but mighty French-Japanese Kitsilano restaurant was one of four Vancouver eateries that made the shortlist back in August.
Known for its seasonally conscious set menus showcasing the ingredients of the Pacific Northwest, Mak N Ming is the first solo restaurant venture for chefs Makoto Ono and Amanda Cheng.
Mak N Ming is the only B.C. restaurant to make the list of 10. In what may be a surprise to many, it's Edmonton that has the most restaurants on the list, with an impressive three of its exciting newcomers to the dining out scene.
