Vancouver has a brand new food truck that's just rolled into service, and they specialize in all things fried fish.
Called Catch Weight, the new kitchen on wheels made its debut last week, serving up fish and chips, fried fish sandwiches, fish tacos, and more.
Catch Weight is the endeavour of the same local treat-yo-self food pros behind the DL Chicken Shack and Downlow Burgers. - which means you know you're in for eats that pack a ton of flavour where every detail from the buns to the sauce have been carefully thought out for maximum deliciousness.
On the menu are classic fish and chips, along with things like the FoF Sando, and battered and fried fish tacos.
Catch Weight serves up only ethical, sustainable, and local seafood, too.
Right now you can catch Catch Weight parked at Resurrection Spirits (1672 Franklin St, Vancouver) Thursday through Saturday from 6 to 10:30 p.m. There are plans in the works for a "very cool Sunday afternoon collab" coming soon, too - my money is on it being with Big Day BBQ, who are frequent collaborators with this team.
