Sit down to a delectable five-course feast from Torafuku for Father's Day. Available for both dine-in and to-go, the meals come complete with three starters, a choice of main, and dessert. Starters include a refreshing Summer Salad of heirloom tomatoes with watermelon, corn, and housemade ricotta to balance the decadent foie gras-stuffed chicken wings. Options for the main course are 24-hour Short Rib with unagi sauce, wagyu sirloin, kimchi fried rice, or opt for the much-loved Torafuku Duck Buns complete with foie gras parfait, fluffy house made steam buns and candied peanuts. Get an order in by June 17 for Vancouver's newest food truck - a 24-foot trailer serving up impeccable Texas-style BBQ combos. Rosie's BBQ & Smokehouse has family-style platters and individual items, like smoked pork steaks, brisket, jalapeño cheddar sausages, and baby back ribs with sides like cornbread, smoked green beans, and slaw. They will even be serving up cherry Kool-Aid pickles for something different to crunch on. Currently, the BBQ truck is taking orders for Father's Day, which will find them set up at 15th and Ontario (by Mount Pleasant Park). Pre-orders close June 17 and customers will choose a pick-up slot between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. for that day.
