Feast on prime rib with all the trimmings, croissants loaded with pulled pork, or set the dad, grandpa, or other dad-like person in your life up with some delicious ingredients to get cooking with.

Vancouver's new super fun Burgerland Smash Up has a Father's Day kit that has everything you or the dad in your life needs to build an iconic Big Mac-style burger with premium ingredients. Perfect your smashing technique and enjoy the delicious results of this simple kitchen wizardry. The all-in-one Kits include all the pre-measured ingredients to cook up a smashburger feast for four, including: four certified organic, grass-fed smashballs from Two Rivers Specialty Meats and Blue Goose Cattle Company; special sauce; lettuce; cheese; pickles; Martin’s famous potato roll buns; and step-by-step instructions. Torafuku: 5-course Meal Sets

Sit down to a delectable five-course feast from Torafuku for Father's Day. Available for both dine-in and to-go, the meals come complete with three starters, a choice of main, and dessert. Starters include a refreshing Summer Salad of heirloom tomatoes with watermelon, corn, and housemade ricotta to balance the decadent foie gras-stuffed chicken wings. Options for the main course are 24-hour Short Rib with unagi sauce, wagyu sirloin, kimchi fried rice, or opt for the much-loved Torafuku Duck Buns complete with foie gras parfait, fluffy house made steam buns and candied peanuts. To finish, guests can choose from a perfect summer Mango Pudding or a Basque Cheesecake with yuzu and rhubarb compote. The full menu can be viewed here. Rosie's BBQ & Smokehouse

Get an order in by June 17 for Vancouver's newest food truck - a 24-foot trailer serving up impeccable Texas-style BBQ combos. Rosie's BBQ & Smokehouse has family-style platters and individual items, like smoked pork steaks, brisket, jalapeño cheddar sausages, and baby back ribs with sides like cornbread, smoked green beans, and slaw. They will even be serving up cherry Kool-Aid pickles for something different to crunch on. Currently, the BBQ truck is taking orders for Father's Day, which will find them set up at 15th and Ontario (by Mount Pleasant Park). Pre-orders close June 17 and customers will choose a pick-up slot between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. for that day.

Treat the dad in your life to some delicious espresso-inspired treats from one of Vancouver's favourite bakeries. The trio of limited edition items include: a Pulled Pork Croissant with house-made espresso BBQ sauce, smoked pulled pork, roasted seeds buttery croissant, topped with smoked paprika and espresso; Cold Brew Coffee, featuring house roasted Vietnamese coffee with coconut rum and coconut cream; and an Almond Espresso Bar with almond praline, espresso, and Valrhona dark chocolate. Enjoy four new dishes from Heritage Asian Eatery, available only in their Father’s Day feast. BBQ Pork Puff Pastry, Chive & Pork Dumplings, Steamed Ribs and Salted Egg Yolk Sesame Balls will be offered for the first time ever, alongside Heritage favourites like Five Spice Chicken Wings, Crystal Prawn Dumplings, Truffle Prawn and Pork Siu Mai. Pre-orders are highly encouraged and can be placed on the Heritage website. The feast is available for take-out or dine-in, only at the Broadway location on Saturday, June 19 and Sunday, June 20 until 3 p.m.

Brunch in the park at Stanley Park Brewing

Enjoy brunch and brews in beautiful Stanley Park. Seatings are from 10 a.m. to noon and from 12:30 to 2: 30 p.m. on Sunday, June 20, and reservations are required. Priced at $55 per adult (coffee/tea included) and $20 per child (bottomless OJ and hot chocolate included) including tax and gratuity. Available from noon to 3 p.m., Five Sails’ signature High Tea features an enchanting collection of savoury sandwiches and finger foods, delicate desserts, and classic teatime accoutrements all served atop a showstopping three-tiered tower. Designed to be shared among parties of two, the European menu showcases an array of original bite-sized delicacies created by the restaurant’s award-winning culinary team led by Executive Chef Pascal Georges and Pastry Chef Daria Andriienko.
