Well, this is egg-citing: Vancouver has a new food truck that specializes in breakfast.
Called Crack On, the truck will help you fuel your morning or midday with its menu of breakfast sandwiches and coffee.
Goose Schwerin and Mark Kearney, a pair of "Irish imports," are the team behind Crack On.
The duo is dishing up sandwiches on freshly-baked sourdough, each with a "laid to order" fried egg. There's even one with a pun-ny Vancouver-inspired name, the Eggspo '86, which includes a fried egg with plant-based sausage, caramelized onions, Havarti, and a house-made aioli. There's a focus on local ingredients, like One Arrow bacon and Agro Roasters coffee.
The recently-launched truck parks Tuesday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Cambie and 41st near Oakridge mall and on the weekends rolls up to various craft breweries in the area, like Faculty Brewing, Strange Fellows, and Dageraad.
