They promise to open another location somewhere else.

Pho Central has closed its restaurant in Vancouver's Davie Village after 17 years selling Vietnamese food.

After 17 years Pho Central is leaving Davie VIllage.

In a notice posted on the door of the restaurant at 1161 Davie St., the owners say that they've permanently closed the location. However, they don't say they're done serving up Vietnamese food entirely.

"Today is our last day on Davie Street, but we hope that you will continue to support us in our future endeavours when we reopen," read the letter posted to the door.

They encourage people to follow their Instagram account for information on said future endeavours, but as of Sunday, Dec. 3, the account has zero posts.

Management also thanks the community for supporting their small business.

Davie Street will always be home, and despite Pho Central moving on to a new chapter, nothing will ever replace the time we have spent here and the connections we have made along the way."
