The best things in life are free, and pancakes are pretty amazing…so put them together and you have the annual belly-filling fun that is IHOP’s National Pancake Day.
Taking place on Tuesday, February 25, customers dining in between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. can get a free short stack of buttermilk pancakes at their local IHOP.
Now in its seventh year, the U.S.-based chain's annual fundraiser not only gives us the chance to chow down on a fluffy short stack for free - but also a great opportunity to buck up for a great cause. While you can absolutely enjoy those pancakes at no cost, National Pancake Day is about giving back; guests can make a voluntary donation to benefit their local Children’s Miracle Network member hospital.
Here in British Columbia, our recipient is the BC Children's Hospital Foundation.
Since the first National Pancake Day in Canada in 2014, guests have generously donated more than $425,000 for their local Children’s Miracle Network member hospitals nationwide.
There are several IHOP locations in Metro Vancouver and the Fraser Valley, including in Vancouver, Burnaby, New Westminster, and Richmond; use their website to find the one nearest you.
