A new restaurant called Sushi Sei is opening soon where Grains Fish Noodle was in East Vancouver.

After one year in East Vancouver, Grains Fish Noodle has closed its fourth location.

On Dec. 15, 2024, they officially closed their location at 2427 Kingsway, almost exactly a year after it opened. The local chain has three other spots in Metro Vancouver: two in Richmond and one in Burnaby.

Grains Fish Noodle is named and known for its five-grain noodles and fish-based broths.

"Dear Valued Customers, thank you for your support to our business," stated the company on Instagram. "We regret to announce we will be closing down our Grains Fish Noodle Kingsway location."

Already the Kingsway location has signs up for a new restaurant, called Sushi Sei.

While an online presence does not appear to be set up at the time of publishing, signs on the door indicate it will open later this month.

"We are currently undergoing renovations and plan to open in early January 2025," reads one sign.
