One of Vancouver's favourite local coffee roasters, Matchstick, is prepping their fourth location. Currently the team is building out their new space at the corner of Richards and Drake in downtown.
The new Matchstick location has been designed by Harmony Pacific Projects, who are behind some of the city's most beautiful restaurant spaces, including Savio Volpe, Autostrada, Coquille, The Birds & the Beets, and other Matchstick locations.
Known for their light, bright minimalist spaces with communal seating, Matchstick considers their cafes "community spaces." They have a strong coffee program of brewed and espresso beverages, as well as pastries and other light bites like loaded toasts and sandwiches.
Currently Matchstick has locations in Chinatown, Mount Pleasant, and Riley Park.
Keep an eye on Matchstick's Instagram account as they get closer to opening day at their new location at Richards and Drake.
