There's a new-ish under-the-radar burger pop-up happening in Vancouver right now, and if you're a fan of classic, simple burgers, you'll want to take note.
Mimi's Burgers is operating out of Glitch, a retro arcade bar in Kitsilano that opened earlier this year.
While Glitch is not open for business, Mimi's is still slinging burgers, and they are drawing raves for their "no frills" cheeseburgers and fries.
Mimi's says they are all about "quick service and fresh ingredients," offering burger fans a "throwback to simpler times."
Don't be surprised if you happen to meet Swollen Members' Kiley Hendriks aka Prevail when you grab your burger order - the Juno-winning Vancouver-based hip hop artist is involved in Mimi's.
Mimi's Burgers is operating Wednesday through Sunday from noon to 8 p.m. and you order on-site and can take your burger, fries, and drinks to-go. They have been known to sell out, however, so be patient and plan accordingly. You can follow @mimiskits on Instagram for more info and updates.
