A new all-you-can-eat Japanese barbecue restaurant is opening soon in Richmond.
Ontario-based Gyubee Japanese Grill is opening its first B.C. location near Ackroyd and No. 3 Road.
Construction for the restaurant is underway as it is taking over the former DaTang BBQ's spot at Unit 50 - 8100 Ackroyd Rd.
Its menu includes a variety of barbecue meat and vegetable items as well as sushi, chicken wings and Korean food items.
Gyubee also offers desserts such as creme brulee, soft-serve ice cream, and non-alcoholic and alcoholic drinks.
The restaurant chain has eight locations in Ontario and one in Quebec.
It is unclear when the official opening date is.
