Vancouver's Victoria Drive south of Kingsway offers an extension of the city's "Little Saigon" with blocks packed with Vietnamese restaurants and cafes.
Now Hẻm 377 is set to join the ranks, offering a specialty Vietnamese coffee shop experience.
"'Hẻm' means the alley in Vietnam (usually tight and narrow roads) and they are all numbered," explains the cafe venture on social media.
"In Saigon, you can find multiple Cafe shops or small restaurants tucked away in some narrow Hẻm where locals spend most of their time chatting and drinking coffee all day," adds the coffee shop. "We want to bring authentic and yet modern Vietnamese coffee culture to Vancouver."
Hẻm 377 will offer an array of hot and cold coffee and tea beverages including Vietnamese Coconut Coffee (Cà phê dừa), Ube Lattes, Iced Thai Red Milk Tea.
Located at 5026 Victoria Dr (in the former Calabria Bakery space), Hẻm 377 is aiming to embark on its soft open phase in the first week of May.
