“Finally, ready for action.”
Those are the words I really wanted to hear because brunch is a pretty awesome meal. I can now enjoy that awesomeness in New Westminster with Bruncheria in Sapperton.
A recent Instagram posting says people can order their brunch items online from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. for pickup or to eat out on its patio at 502 East Columbia St. (The Bruncheria café at a different location appears to be closed for renovations and a “beer garden” is in the works, according to the Bruncheria.)
“Isn't it just perfect?” reads a posting about the photo above. “Our best-selling item. THE PERFECT BRUNCH BOWL. Poached eggs. Hollandaise. Our signature Brunch veggies. GBD (golden brown delicious) breakfast potatoes. Pulled pork made in house with our not so sweet BBQ sauce. Last but not least crispy bacon.”
Oh wow. I’m feeling faint.
A look through its online menu shows lots of options, from carnivore specials to vegetarian and vegan.
There are full breakfasts, wraps, bennies, sandwiches and bowls. Oh, and waffles. And grilled cheese (grilled cheese!) and fries.
A city can never have enough good breakfast and brunch options to choose from.
