Ding! Pie's ready!
Burnaby, you've got a new destination for all things pie. Vancouver's The Pie Hole officially opened the doors to their Burnaby store and cafe on Sunday, marking the local bakery's second location.
Know for their always-tempting array of sweet and savoury pies, The Pie Hole is the baked goods baby of Jenell Parsons, who launched the business a few years ago in partnership with her sister, Carla.
The Pie Hole's wares were initially sold through other cafes and vendors, but in April 2017, they opened their first storefront, a cozy cafe on Fraser Street (at 19th).
Now they're up and running in Burnaby, baking up signature pies like Bacon Cheeseburger, Fat Elvis, Earl Grey Cream, Maple French Toast & Bacon, Mac & Cheese, "To Die For" Banana, classic Apple, and more.
Pie lovers can take their chances and see what's in the case by the slice at the new location, or you can pre-order online (with 36-hour minimum advance notice).
The Burnaby location is at 7832 6th Street, just above the New Westminster border. They'll be open Tuesday through Saturday from 10 am to 6 pm and Sundays 11 am to 5 pm.
