Pizzeria Farina is marking eight years this month at their Vancouver restaurant, but they're also prepping to open a brand new location across the water in North Vancouver's Lower Lonsdale.
Farina Pizza a Legna (meaning "wood-fired") will be a full-service pizzeria that's sliding into the space formerly occupied by Il Castello Pizzeria at 119 2nd Street East.
With seating for 50, Farina Pizza a Legna will boast a bright, spacious dining room, plus an eight-seat patio. Fans of the Main Street shop will surely find their Napoletana-style pizza faves at the new location, as well as an expanded menu of plates, including antipasti, salads, pasta, and desserts.
Over at the bar, they'll be pouring ocal craft beer and Prosecco on tap, an all-Italian wine list, selection of amaro and grappa, and house-made bottled cocktails, according to a media release.
Meanwhile, back on Main Street, Pizzeria Farina's eighth anniversary will be marked with an awesome deal. On Sunday, August 18, you'll find $8 pizza specials at Pizzeria Farina - their Napoletana-style Marinara, Margherita, Funghi, Quattro Formaggi, Calabrese and Finocchiona varieties of pies will be available for $8 (dine-in only) starting at 5 p.m. and ending when the dough runs out, with a limit of one pizza per customer.
Pizzeria Farina is located at 915 Main Street in Vancouver. Farina Pizza a Legna will be located at 119 2nd Street East in North Vancouver, and is aiming to open later this month.
