Havana has been on The Drive for over 25 years, serving up vibrant Latin and West Coast fare. The spot's fun tropical vibe and excellent mezcal-forward cocktail menu make it a favourite among locals.
However, anyone looking to stop by next month is going to have to venture elsewhere because the bar and restaurant announced today that it would be temporarily closing its doors for renovation on January 3.
“The renovations being done on the restaurant side are primarily mechanical and functional, necessary for building maintenance and longevity,” says managing partner Reuben Major in a recent press release.
They anticipate reopening by the end of January but tease that there is another announcement incoming. Havana Theatre, an adjoining 38-seat live performance space is also getting an upgrade but detailed plans remain under wraps.
