First Canadian outpost of South Korean coffee chain grand opening in Richmond

There will be 'Canada-only' special drinks by the brand at the Richmond location.

A South Korean international coffee chain has chosen Richmond as its first Canadian outpost.

TheVenti Coffee is having its grand opening on Saturday, March 15, at unit 105 - 6011 No. 3 Rd. (at Westminster Highway) in the former BeauTea's location.

The advertisement signs for the coffee shop have been removed, allowing passersby to now see inside the store.

TheVenti Coffee first opened in 2014 in Busan, describing itself as a "value-focused" coffee chain.

Since its establishment, the chain has opened 1,500 stores as of 2025, with Richmond being its first international outpost.

While the chain's menu offers the traditional coffee and tea drinks like Americano, matcha latte, and hazelnut cream cold brew, it also has a "Canada-only menu" featuring a Maple Deep Latte, Harmony Chai Latte, and London Fog, according to its in-store menu.

There is even peach iced tea, yuzu apple blending tea, sparkling juices, blended frappes and smoothies.
