Hot chocolate anyone?
With February just around the corner, as is the return of the annual Squamish Hot Chocolate Festival.
Back for its fifth year, the festival showcases hot chocolatey goodness from a number of venues across Squamish, making it the perfect thing to do with friends or family (or on a solo date) on a cold winter's day.
“Get ready to dive deep into the tantalizing world of delicious hot chocolate!” reads the Tourism Squamish website.
“Once again we'll see Squamish's finest local crafters create unique hot chocolates that will tempt your taste buds and awaken your senses.”
The event runs from Feb. 6 to 26 and will feature drinks from 25 different food and drink establishments.
So who is taking part?
Here is a list of all the participants with a drink menu taking part in this years Hot Chocolate Festival:
- Alice and Brohm: They have two different drinks on offer; Billionaire's Shortbread and Strawberry Chocolate Chip (DF/GF*)
- Brackendale Art Gallery: Hot Raspberry Dream
- Cloudburst Cafe: Chocolate Tart & Dark Cherry Hot Cocoa
- Fergie's: Matcha White Hot Chocolate
- Ground Up Climbing Centre: Biscoff Boulder Choc
- Outbound Station: The Bacon Royale
- Pink Tuna Cafe: Mexican hot chocolate
- Raincity Distillery: Choco Remedy
- RideHub Cafe: Mountain Berry Drift
- Sea to Sky Gondola: Peak Indulgence
- Tacofino: Coconut Cloud Hot Chocolate
- Tall Tree Bakery: Pistachio Hot Chocolate
- The Brackendale Bean: Dark Chocolate Ganache Malted Hot Chocolate with Almond Biscotti

A downloadable Squamish Hot Chocolate Festival tasting passport will be made available on the Tourism Squamish website soon and a limited supply physical passports will be available to pick up at the Squamish Adventure Centre.
