Bisou Bakery has opened its doors to its third location with a cafe in the city's core.
The new spot in the Telus Gardens building at 510 Georgia St. officially opened just before Christmas, offering coffee, croissants and cakes (among other things) to last-minute shoppers in downtown Vancouver.
Bisou has two other locations in Metro Vancouver; one on Bidwell and the original in North Vancouver. They're also known for providing baked goods to the likes of Turkish Airlines and Emirates through a deal with the Dubai National Air Travel Agency.
The new cafe is filling the space left behind by Glowbal's Nosh, a grab-and-go spot that opened in 2015.
Bisou launched in 2006 in West Vancouver when a group of friends wanted to open a shop highlighting their pastries. Along with their storefronts, their baked goods have also been carried in grocery stores like Save-On-Foods and hotels like the Fairmont locations in Vancouver.
