Rollzzy has opened its third location in three years.
The Vancouver-based kathi rolls restaurant launched in September 2023 with a location at 542 Robson St. Then, in the summer of 2024, they opened a second location in Surrey.
Now, in 2025, the third Rollzzy location in less than three years opened this month at 2247 Commercial Dr.
The quickly expanding chain offers kathi rolls, a type of Indian street food. They originated in Kolkata, India.
"You see donairs everywhere, you see burritos everywhere, and Indian cuisine has something similar called kathi rolls," co-owner Abhishek Gupta explained to V.I.A. in a previous interview, noting Indian food is much more varied than naan and curries.
Rollzzy was envisioned as a competitor to fast food chains.
"I want Indian cuisine to be known as a competitor to fast food as well, not just a dine-in concept where you have to sit and eat," Gupta said.
The new Rollzzy, like the other locations, is open 24/7. It replaces Juno Provisions on Commercial Drive, which closed in 2023.
