After less than a year, it seems foodies will no longer delight in the West End.
Foodies Delight, which opened in July 2024, has already shuttered its location at 1088 Denman St. The small cafe offered a broad menu which included everything from Belgian waffles to hot dogs but primarily focused on Mediterranean and Middle Eastern dishes like kofta and Isfahan beryani.
Renovations are already underway for the next tenant, one that already has another spot in Vancouver.
Solo Pasta has confirmed a new location will open there in the future.
The original Solo Pasta opened in 2020 at 8620 Granville St. in Marpole.
The restaurant specializes in freshly made pasta and sauces for pickup or delivery (a couple of seats are available at the first location). Customers pick a sauce, pasta, and extras.
