It's been about two years in the works, but the casual Lebanese chain Zaatar W Zeit is finally getting ready to open their first North American location here in Vancouver.
The Lebanon-based Middle Eastern franchised eatery has been planning to make their move into the Canadian market since October 2017, when the company revealed their global expansion plans.
Zaatar W Zeit will be opening at 531 Granville Street in downtown Vancouver, and is currently in the hiring stages.

Founded in 1999 in Lebanon, the casual restaurant has 25 locations in their home country, and over 70 in multiple Middle Eastern nations.
The name Zataar W Zeit translates to "thyme and olive oil" which are pantry staples in Lebanese cuisine.
The menu features items like salads and wraps, manakeesh (a traditional dough with toppings), their signature "Booms" (stuffed buns), pizzas, skillets, and all-day breakfast.
