Three youth suspects turned themselves in to police the same day a video of them was released to the public.
On Oct. 16, Surrey RCMP released a video of three suspects who allegedly assaulted and stabbed a stranger. On the same day, three girls turned themselves in to police.
Back on Oct. 6, police said a woman in her early 30s was stabbed and attacked by three young women who she did not know.
The stabbing occurred on the sidewalk in front of a residential property in the 10200-block of University Drive at 11:42 p.m. A Good Samaritan helped transport the woman to the hospital.
Surrey RCMP's serious crime unit took conduct of the investigation and confirmed the suspects and victim were not known to each other.
Investigators canvased the area and released the video in hopes that someone would identify them.
In the video, one of the suspects can be seen walking ahead of the other two girls before they meet up together on the sidewalk.
Two of the suspects have been arrested for assault. One suspect has been arrested for assault with a weapon, aggravated assault and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.
They have been released on conditions and the investigation is ongoing.
No charges have been laid.
