A celebrity couple is spending their holiday touring B.C.'s capital.
Joe Amabile and Serena Pitt made it through season seven of Bachelor in Paradise and left the reality TV show engaged. Now, they’re posting adorable pictures at spots across Greater Victoria.
According to both their social media accounts, they spent days sightseeing and checked out local restaurants.
Pitt is from Toronto and is believed to be here visiting family, while Amabile is from Chicago and is enjoying the West Coast charm.
“Quite the lovely day today, we haven’t really seen much sun out here on the West Coast but today looks pretty nice,” he says. “I’ll also be wearing Serena’s hat because I didn’t bring a winter hat.”
Amabile posted a video on Instagram showing the view of Victoria's Inner Harbour; it appears the couple is staying at the Delta Hotels by Marriott Victoria Ocean Pointe Resort.
Pitt posted photographs of the couple at the Fairmont Empress enjoying the Empress 1908 Gin. They even dined at the popular Il Terrazzo.
No trip to Vancouver Island over the holiday season is complete without visiting Butchart Gardens in Brentwood Bay for their light display. Amabile posted a snap of the couple at the light-up saying “us this Christmas.”
Amabile, who was given the name ‘Grocery Store Joe’ for previously owning a grocery store, even stopped into Victoria’s Chinatown and posted a pic of the old-fashioned Chinese restaurant Don Mee.
The couple has not announced any wedding plans. Maybe they'll consider Vancouver Island now?
