A Vancouver man is facing multiple sexual assault, assault and uttering threats charges involving one person.
The man was scheduled to appear before Vancouver provincial court Judge Grace Oh with regard to charges sworn April 27, court documents show. Those documents show a count of alleged assault of the woman on April 23.
A second count of assault is alleged between Oct. 1 and Oct. 31, 2022. A third and fourth are alleged for Jan. 21. It is also alleged he sexually assaulted the woman that day.
The documents allege that, on April 11, he assaulted the woman by choking, strangling or suffocating her. Another charge from that day alleges he threatened to cause death or bodily harm to the woman.
The charges allege he sexually assaulted the woman between Jan. 28 and April 23.
The man has been ordered to stay away from the alleged victim and a Vancouver address.
A publication ban prohibits publication of any information that could identify a complainant or witness in the case.
Glacier Media has chosen not to name the accused as it is unknown if they will be a witness in the case.
