Ryan Reynolds and his ugly sweater got picked apart by a group of kids.
But it was for all the right reasons.
Reynolds is back this holiday season trying to raise money for The Hospital for Sick Children's SickKids Foundation with a new hilarious video.
Auston Matthews of the Toronto Maple Leafs and singer Michael Bublé also joined in on the annual ugly sweater fundraiser.
“Every parent knows that kids, while a magical gift from heaven, can kind of be pr*cks,” says Reynolds in the video. “But it’s hard for kids to be pr*cks when they’re sick.”
The Deadpool star added that's why the work done at SickKids is so important.
The video has no shortage of real-life examples, including shrieking children, mud spreading and tantrums.
When Matthews enters the room, one child in the video stands up and screams, "I wanted Michael Bublé."
Reynold’s ugly green and red sweater with a gold bow was, of course, featured in the video and received criticism from one of the kids.
“You look so stupid in that sweater,” says one child.
Bublé dodges a stuffed animal being flung at him in the video while adding that Samsung Canada will match all donations up to $100,000.
Reynolds has been putting his ugly sweater to use to raise money for the hospital for five years now. More information can be found on the SickKids Foundation’s website.
