Cleveland Dam
Looming up between the walls of Capilano Canyon, the Cleveland Dam—seen under construction in this photograph—opened in late 1954. The dam currently provides a third of Metro Vancouver’s water, and is accessible to visitors as part of the Capilano River Regional Park.
