We've just released a new Luv-A-Fair snapback hat in our online store, just in time for holiday gifting!
Embroidered locally, the unstructured 100% cotton hat features the original logo for the Vancouver nightclub that was a regular haunt for many of Seymour Street.
Initially a gay disco, the club transitioned into a new wave and punk haven in the 1980s. It was described by MuchMusic's Kim Clark Champniss as "a giant warehouse at the intersection where the red light and gay districts met".
The club closed down in 2003 to make way for a condo development, but we're keeping it alive with this latest release at BC Is Awesome.
