As the temperatures climb things are also heating up over at Mejuri. The Canadian demi-fine jewellery brand has just opened a vacation shop and launched its first-ever resort jewellery line.
The Coastal Collection is comprised of bold beaded bracelets and necklaces in clean and simple combinations of white, blue, green, and red, making them genderless. The beads are made from agate, foraged tagua nut (also known as vegetable ivory), aventurine quartz, and resin so they're wearable in hot weather and on the beach.
Chunky button earrings that look like baubles come in silver and gold and striped enamel pieces like rings, bangles, and huggy hoops round out the limited edition summer holiday crew.
It's a stunning departure from Mejuri's usual layerable gold but it's in keeping with the jewellery trends we're seeing this summer. Fun and colourful statement jewellery is in the spotlight thanks to Y2K and coastal grandmother vibes making a comeback this season, the combination of nostalgia and summer has also led to the return of turquoise's popularity.
To complement the beachy vibes of the limited-edition jewellery, Mejuri has teamed up with New York accessories brand Bembien to create a rattan tote. It really makes you want to pack a bag and head to a beach resort to lounge in the sun looking fabulous.
