French girl fashion is effortless, envious, and classic.
While it can feel daunting or near impossible to achieve the iconic look in Vancouver, shopping Parisian brands is like using the cheat code and a new store opening in the heart of Downtown is giving the locals the opportunity to step into the persona.
Ba&sh, a contemporary Parisian fashion brand founded by best friends Barbara Boccara and Sharon Krief and known for its dresses and feminine prints, is opening its first standalone boutique in Western Canada this March.
Taking over the space at 925 W Georgia St, formerly occupied by Chopard, the 660-square-foot concept store will carry ready-to-wear garments and accessories that range from casual to riviera, to occasion wear.
The interior will focus on organic materials and shapes with burned wood details and Venetian plaster.
“We are thrilled to be opening our first free-standing boutique in Vancouver, in an incredible location that offers an elevated shopping experience,” says Desiree Thomas, CEO of North America. “We know our effortless, Parisian aesthetic resonates well with Canadians.”
When Ba&sh first landed on the scene, it exploded in popularity with Europeans and now has 400 stores worldwide. Once the store opens here in mid-March, there are plans to introduce events, workshops, and private shopping parties.
