The Eastside Flea is back at a new location in Vancouver.

The Eastside Flea is coming back three months after it had to shut down as its old venue was slated for demolition.

Luckily, the popular flea market found a new location just a short walk from its old spot at the Eastside Studios on Malkin Avenue. The Eastside Flea is moving into an old warehouse just a few blocks east with the new marketplace launching Sept. 23 for thrifty shoppers looking for second-hand and vintage clothing, along with collectibles and other items.

"Join us at 1101 Union St. for your favourite fall market with 50 local vendors, food trucks, licensed bar, and free photo booth!" state organizers on Instagram.

When it was announced the Eastside Flea was looking for a new home, founder Bill Valentine told V.I.A. the operators were looking for another warehouse to keep the same feel as the previous location.

Their new home is a warehouse built in 1958.

The new space will also feature new murals by local artist Nada Hayek, aka Sloppy Johnson.

Eastside Flea dates and hours

The location is new, but the plan is the same: The Eastside Flea will run from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays starting the Sept. 23 and 24 weekend until the Oct. 28 and 29 weekend.

While the final announced date is Oct. 29, the vendor application form has dates all the way until the Dec. 16 and 17 weekend (with a couple of weekends off in early November).
