Circle Wellness opened on Industrial Avenue in Vancouver in 2019.
The privately-booked urban spa consists of a cedar soaking tub, cold plunge tub, heated river stone pad and an indoor Himalayan salt sauna that combines light and sound for a full sensory experience. The spa is completely contained and self-guided, with no practitioners on-site. The combination of privacy and luxe west coast-inspired design has created a lengthy waiting list.
People have to check back monthly for the chance to book one of the few coveted spots.
Before opening its spa, Circle Wellness' business created 'wellness pods' and residential installations for various clients. The integration of salt bricks, wood planks, stone, and lush greenery fit in well with the Japanese and Pacific Northwest influences that Vancouver spa enthusiasts crave, even in the heart of industrial areas.
This week, fans of Circle Wellness were teased with the news that the business is planning an expansion.
A second location is coming to Granville Island.
