Demolition underway of Vancouver’s iconic 3 Vets

Demolition of the 3 Vets building finally began this week, with a backhoe making short work of the concrete and metal structure.

Since then, the building on 2200 Yukon St. has sat dormant while a development application for a four-storey project featuring light industrial use on the first and second storeys and general office use on the remaining floors worked its way through the maze of city planning bureaucracy.
