How early would you line up to get 50 to 90 percent discounts on your favourite threads?
According some Aritzia aficionados, the answer is the night before the sale even begins.
People have shared snaps on social media of throngs of eager fashionistas lined up around the Convention Centre for the best bargains at the annual Aritzia Warehouse Sale.
Before the sale to the general public even began, the line-up for Tuesday, Aug. 27's 'friends and family' sale snaked its way around the block. Doors opened to the general public the following morning at 7 a.m., but people had been lining up since 9 p.m. the previous night.
Instagram-user @chrissieclancy noted in a post that the 'friends and family', "lineup started from the front door to all the way around the Coal Harbour waterfront to the water plane terminal."
They add that, "just to be clear, I’m a tourist down there today...definitely not shopping and definitely not at Aritzia."
The sale began on Wednesday, Aug. 28 and runs daily until Monday, Sept. 2.

The massive sale includes both Spring/Summer and Fall/Winter apparel, as well as a wide selection of denim, shoes and accessories. What’s more, the sale offers a whopping 50 to 90 percent off the original price of seasonal styles from brands such as Wilfred, Babaton, Tna, Wilfred Free, Sunday Best, Little Moon and more.
