The Vancouver Police Department said in an update on Twitter that the bear had ambled back into the woods.

A large bear was spotted on the Vancouver-Burnaby border Saturday (April 29) afternoon.
Vancouver police officers are tracking the bear which was first seen near Boundary and Trinity streets just after 2 p.m.
"Please use caution and give it space until it returns to the wild," says the Vancouver Police Department (VPD) on Twitter.
One resident replied to the tweet saying that the bear lingered in his front yard before ambling on.
